Dinner time is important. It's a time to decompress after the stress of the day. Alone or shared, we regain our strength. But be careful to take good care of your menu. Certain foods are not recommended in the evening, they can disturb sleep.
SPICES
Curry, cumin, pepper… spices bring a little magic to the kitchen. But it is better to avoid using them for an evening meal. Indeed, they are particularly difficult to digest and can therefore sometimes cause heartburn or pain in the stomach.

EGGPLANT
This very trendy vegetable is against all expectations to be suppressed from evening meals. Eggplant contains nicotine which has exciting properties and therefore can potentially make it difficult to fall asleep. And in the form of caviar it is not better, the fat and fibers will lead to intestinal fermentation which will weigh down digestion.

FAT FOOD
From a general point of view, fat should be avoided. These substances will cause significant digestive work which will lengthen the duration of falling asleep and therefore complicate sleep. So butter and fried foods are sparingly.

COFFEE
It is the best remedy for not going to sleep. You should absolutely avoid drinking coffee before going to bed. Caffeine is an stimulant that can cause insomnia. An American study dating from 2013 and published in The journal of clinical sleep medicine showed that up to 6 hours before bedtime, taking a coffee can have an effect on the quality of sleep.

FRUITS RICH IN VITAMIN C
Vitamin C is renowned for its energizing properties. We should therefore avoid eating fruits that are rich in them in the evening, such as blackcurrant, citrus fruits, strawberries or even kiwis. Whether in their natural form or in juice.
