The NBA announced Friday that 16 players had been infected with the Corunavirus about a month before the resumption of the 2020 season.
The 16 cases of 302 players tested on June 23. The association did not reveal the names of the infected.
The association said in a statement: "Any player who proves infected will remain in self-isolation until he meets health and safety standards and the doctor gives him the green light to return."

"I found out that I was infected with the Corona virus several days ago and immediately started self-isolation in Chicago where I am now. I'm following the recovery process and I'm doing well. I look forward to joining my colleagues when the season resumes in Orlando," Parker said in a statement.
Lin wrote on his Instagram account that he had the virus, while Brugdon confirmed the matter in a statement released by Bessers on Twitter. The league, which was suspended on March 11 after Utah Jazz player Rudi Gobier was infected with the Corona virus, will return to Disney World, Florida, on July 31.
